[Mixtape] Gucci Mane – Trap God

What a crazy night last night was for hip hop music. First we got a leak from the Meek Mill debut, then the whole Kendrick Lamar album leaked (look for a review either tonight or tomorrow), the third piece of the puzzle was Gucci Mane’s Trap God dropping on us. Trap God has features and production from the likes of Waka Flocka, Meek Mill and Kirko Bangz. Like the mixtape title suggests, this is trap music straight thru. Love it or hate it, Trap music is becoming more and more popular, mixing deep 808 kicks with EDM elements, and led by the likes of Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka and Juicy J. One thing I will say about this mixtape is that if you weren’t a Gucci fan before you listen to it, you won’t be afterwards. On the other hand, if you did like Gucci’s music beforehand, you’ll find plenty to quench your trap thirst with this tape. Either way, I love it. 1017 Bricksquad all day, believe that.
